Rock Band Class is a performance-based ensemble where students learn to play popular music, including rock, pop, and blues, in a group setting. Designed for various skill levels, these classes teach instrumental proficiency (guitar, bass, drums, keyboard, vocals), song arrangement, rehearsal techniques, and stage presence. To be eligible, the student needs to be enrolled in private lessons during the duration of the band class. Your teacher will need to approve admittance based on the student's ability. The Classes are Monday Through Thursday, from 1:00pm to 2:30pm, from June 29th thru August 6th. You can sign up for 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 or 6 weeks, and you may select 2, 3, or 4 days per week. You may select any available day of the week (Monday thru Thursday)
Class Prices:
2 classes per week: $60 per week
3 classes per week: $75 per week
4 classes per week: $100 per week
Payment needs to be made in advance and is not refundable. You will notify us of the specific week or weeks the student will participate in, and the number of days per week.
Tuition is $150 for each student per week per class. This allows you to attend any or all of the daily classes that week for this topic. No partial payment for weeks. Payment due in advance and is non refundable. All materials are included. There is no prerequisite. Each day on its own (ok to miss a day, but there is no refund)
Classes will be available online live to those who need to miss a class. Age range for these classes is 9 to 20
Our Ear Training and Music Theory class provides a foundational, comprehensive study of musical elements, combining the intellectual understanding of music (theory) with the practical ability to hear, identify, and reproduce those elements by ear. Live sound and lighting class provides hands-on training in stage production, focusing on operating audio reinforcement and lighting systems for concerts, theater, and events. Students learn to manage signal flow, mixers, amplifiers, effects, microphones and DMX lighting control. This Program emphasizes practical, real-world experience. BOOK NOW
Our Music History and Appreciation course provides a survey of Western musical styles from the Middle Ages to the 20th century, including modern pop, jazz, and world genres, focusing on developing active listening, critical thinking, and historical context. The Song Writing class aims to teach the craft of creating music, covering areas such as lyric writing, melody composition, harmonic progression, and song structure. This course is designed for all levels, from beginners to experienced musicians aiming to refine their skills and explore new genres. BOOK NOW
You will learn how to use Reaper audio production software, including importing audio files and loops, as well as recording from microphones and instruments to create a balanced song mix with special effects. The Science of Music & Sound is a course exploring the physics, physiology, and technology of sound production and perception. Students investigate acoustics (vibrations, waves, resonance), musical instrument design, and auditory perception. BOOK NOW
